Hemp hearts are shelled hemp seeds, where the outer hard shell of the raw hemp seeds are removed through a process called dehulling. The shelled seeds have an improved protein & omegas to weight ratio, and also better digestibility.

Despite being a seed, they have a subtly nutty taste and can be a fantastic addition to your breakfast cereals, smoothies and salads. (Pro Tip: you can also roast the seeds to make delicious and nutritious spreads)
